The extension barrel is a special type of fitting, which is necessary to increase the length of individual elements of the piping system.
The barrel is a cylinder with male threads on both sides, by means of which it is mounted in the water system, increasing the length and ensuring a tight connection of the sections.

Sealing materials such as plumber's tape and paste and/or Teflon tape (PTFE sealing material tape) and/or aerobic sealant must be used to obtain a tight connection when installing the fitting.
