The straight connector is an element of pipe connection, which is 2 threaded fittings and a coupling nut.
The straight connector(American-style) 1/2" f/m is designed for quick and easy connection and separation of pipes, as well as elements of the central heating or hot water supply. This fixture is made from high quality CW617N brass and is nickel plated to a minimum of 7µm to provide effective protection against wet conditions.

The American pipe joint is a quick coupler, which makes it possible to connect pipes in hard-to-reach places. It consists of a nozzle, a coupling nut and an American enclosure. The nozzle on the side of the union nut has a gasket and a tapered connection which, by tightening the union nut, is tight against the body of the flare nut creating a tight connection.
