Description

Plumbing flax (hards) is the hackled and peeled flax fibers. This material is designed to seal metal threads and fittings.

Quality flax can be used at temperatures up to 160 degrees in heating and water supply systems, as well as for steam systems. Does not cause allergies and traps bacteria. Hackled flax is one of the best sealants for plumbing works. Flax swells when it comes into contact with water. This increases its volume, blocking any drips or leaks.

Premium plumbing flax fiber has longer fibers.
