Description
Magnesium anode by MasterProf is a thick stem made of magnesium alloy installed inside the water heater tank. It is intended for softening and purifying water, protection of inner walls of the water heater tank from corrosion and prevention of incrustation during operation.

A magnesium anode in a water heater prevents premature destruction of the tank and attracts harmful heavy elements while purifying water. Moreover, it softens boiler scale to facilitate its removal.
The main difference among anodes is the diameter of their pins which are used to fasten them to tubular heating elements. Every tubular heating element supplied by our company is indicated with the proper anode suitable to the type of the element. Please pay attention to the recommendations!

Warning! Magnesium anode is a consumable part of a water heater and it should be replaced every 2 years (its service life may vary depending on the intensity of use and the water quality). It requires to be cleaned and removed of bloom and scale.
