Description
The hexagonal coupling is a fitting used to connect individual sections of pipelines in water supply and heating systems.
The hexagonal coupling has two female threaded outlets and is made of high quality nickel plated brass, which ensures a long service life of the fitting.
The product is easy to install even for the novice craftsman, especially thanks to the hexagonal design of the coupling, which fits perfectly under a gas or adjustable wrench.
Sealing materials such as plumber's tape and paste and/or Teflon tape (PTFE sealing material tape) and/or aerobic sealant or plumber's thread are required to obtain a tight connection when installing the hex socket.
Hexagonal coupling is manufactured by the hot forging method. The fitting is made from high quality brass CW617N and has a nickel coating of at least 7µm, making it suitable for use in drinking water systems due to the reduced lead content in the alloy.
