Description
The hexagonal extension 1/2" х 50 mm is a type of fitting, which is necessary for extension of individual elements of the pipe system.
The hexagonal extension is a cylinder with female and male threads, by means of which it is mounted in the water system, increasing the length and ensuring a tight connection of the sections. Easy installation that can be done by any user, as well as durability provided by the material of which the extension cord is made, are the main advantages of this product.
The hexagonal extension is manufactured by hot forging. The fitting is made from high quality brass CW617N and has a nickel coating of at least 7µm, making it suitable for use in drinking water systems due to the reduced lead content in the alloy.
Sealing materials such as plumber's tape and paste and/or Teflon tape (PTFE sealing material tape) and/or aerobic sealant or plumber's thread are required to obtain a tight connection when installing the extension.
The hexagonal external shape is chosen for easy installation of the extension with a plumber's or gas wrench.
MasterProf is the manufacturer of this hexagonal extension.
