Description
The transitional elbow 1/2" x 3/4" f/f MPF serves to connect at an angle of 90°C homogeneous pipe elements of 1/2" and 3/4" diameter respectively as well as combined pipeline elements of polypropylene, metal-polymer, HDPE, etc.
This brass fitting is used in cold and hot water supply systems, heating and gas supply systems, both for domestic and industrial purposes, creating detachable connections. Sealing materials such as sanitary tape and paste and/or Teflon tape (FUM tape) and/or aerobic sealant or sanitary floss must be used to obtain a tight connection when installing the angle.
The elbow is manufactured by the hot forging method. The fitting is made from high quality brass CW617N and has a nickel coating of at least 7µm, making it suitable for use in drinking water systems due to the reduced lead content in the alloy.
